*sniff sniff* my best friend is moving back to germany (on friday) and I won't be able to see her until after at least a year. How much does that suck! well, i guess i'll just have to plan a trip to go visit her soon :)

I know, I haven't updated this thing in a while! I've been incredibly busy, that I haven't been able to enjoy my own summer! Literally! Thankfully this is the last week of Trig. Basically, in 3 weeks you learn about 2 semesters worth of trigonometry and holy crap! It's pretty intense. But that class isn't all that bad since a lot of my friends are in there with me. But next week I'll finally be able to enjoy my summer! for a week, then I have my forensics class at UT which I am totally pumped about! But as soon as thats over, I'll have three more weeks of summer then football will start up! UGH!!! This summer is way too hectic for me! O YEA!!! If you think that only having FOUR WEEKS of summer to enjoy is crazy enough, I'm also running sound for Hello Dolly here in Oak Ridge and all next week is Tech Week! Its insane!!! So, I'm sorry Tricia, but I'm not gunna be able to come to Wisconsin to visit. How much does that suck! I may not be able to visit until, like, next Spring!!!! Yea, it's mainly cause football will be taking up most of the time, and it will also depend on whether we go to state or not. OI!!! Well, I still have some Trig homework to do so I better get that finished up and get to bed. X-P

For many of you who don't already know, I have become a football trainer!!! Basiclly, I'm kinda like a manager, I'm the water girl, and I also tend to the football players needs (ONLY when they get hurt!). Today was my second day and boy it is tiring! It's actually a lot of fun cause I get to hang out with all the football players (and yes, I mean all!) and there are quite a few that aren't at all stereo typical jocks. actually, ALOT of them aren't like that which is really cool! I hang out with them and talk to them and a lot them come up and say "HEY!!!! You're Becca Walker! The girl from the announcements!" It's pretty awesome cause they think thats the coolest thing ever! So they alwasy come up and say "Hey" and shake my hand which is pretty neat. But the number one rule ALL trainers have to abide by (and there's like 7 of us trainers) is that we cannot date any of the football players or else we'll get fired. Honestly, I'm not sure why we can't date them, but because there are those, stereo typical jocks out there, they love to flirt (constantly! which is kinda annoying) and they also have a tendency to spread rumors about us if we date one of the players. So we try to avoid conflict, and luckily for me thats not going to be a problem. Plus, a lot of the guys are good friends with Jon so they know that I'm dating him so they know their limitations. lol. but other than that, being a trainer is a lot of fun! We're having spring training right now, and it lasts for another week or so, then we get back to season training in July! Holy Mackeral!!! O but i havent even told the best part. The coach I'm assigned to is the coach that works with the quarterbacks and recievers. Plus, both the coach and the guys are really nice, so I'm quite happy being a trainer for them. Well, I am reallllly tired and Boston Legal is on! WHOO HOO! night loves!!!!

Spring break is over :( School started yesterday and 8 more weeks of school left! THEN SUMMER!!! But for some reason, the days seem to be a heck of a lot longer than they should cause everyone can't wait till SUMMER time. I got my report card today and i did rather well! i got 2 A's, three B's, and an incomplete in English cause i have soo much missing i have two weeks to make it all up and to change my grade. So i'm pretty happy with the grades i recieved. WHOOP!!! AND OMGSH! PROM IS A MONTH AWAY BY TOMARROW! (Wednesday!) Double WHOOP!!!

so i just got home and OMG! guess what?! I GOT MY DRESS!!!! I am sooo excited becuase it was the one i realllllly really wanted. it was the first one i saw, loved, wanted, and it was on sale (BONUS!!!) and it fit me too!!! i was soooo happy when i got it on and saw myself in it. But unfortunately it had a couple of snags in the mesh of the skirt, so i had to get it fixed and thankfully the bridal shop is going to fix it for me. woohoo! now that i have my PERFECT dress, my mom and i went to the mall and bought me jewelry that matches, a TIARA (!!!!!) and shoes. so all i really need left is a purse to match. Sadly though, im not going to get my dress back untill 3 more weeks. GER!!!! but im hoping they will have my dress fixed so its perfect!!! so obviously, i CANNOT wait.
btw, heres what my dress looks like (its was one of the few that i had wanted from when i last posted on here)
(also, my shoes and jewelry are silver so it's going to look sooooo HOTT!!! lol)

i HATE being sick. my throat is still killing me and its getting hard to sleep at night because my throat hurts so badly that when i swallow i begin to tear up. so i began to think about what the doc said and how i might have mono. i just looked up mono and what it is all about, and well, i was wrong about not having mono, i actually think i may have it! as i was reading the info about it i began to cry because i have a big chunk of the symptoms listed and it can easily be mistakened for the flu or even strep. so im really upset about that and although i dont kno of anyone who has mono, you can still get mono by not getting enough rest and over working your body way too much. i thought at first that i had a sore throat because over the weekend i had my honors choir convention and sang the whole time, so duh, i just tired out my vocal chords. no big. well, they didnt seem to be getting any better, and although my back isnt hurting and i dont have severe headaches anymore, the throat is the one thing that is killing me now.
from looking at what Mono really is, im getting a little freaked out about it. apparently, you can rupture your spleen (and you would need emergency help right away, and possibly emergency surgery Oi!), the sore throat stays for a good long week, you feel really fatigued the whole time you have mono, and although the symptoms may go away after 2 months, there's something called EBV where it practically lives in your saliva and doesnt go away until AFTER 6 MONTHS!!!! so im pretty pissed about that becuase that means your still CONTAGIOUS!!!
well, other than that, im going to the doc tomarraw to get a blood test to find out if i have mono or not, and now that im thinking of it, chances are slim to none that its just a harsh sore throat.
but today i went back to school, and HOORAY!!! i lasted the whole day! there were a couple times where i was close to passing out cause the pain got to me and i was starving (cause for the past couple days i havent had much or any of an appetite). but after taking some advil and eating soup, i felt i could take on the world! so i kinda did, and now, im kinda payin for it cause my throat is in the worst condition ever! but back to school, since i made it through the whole day, i FINALLY saw Jon! i swear, i was on like serious Jon withdrawl. lol. but i went over to his house and saw his cute little puppy, Black Jack, but the only problem was, hes a puppy, so he likes to bite and scratch.
well, my throat hurts (like ive alreayd stated) so im going to prolly work on my retarded Minor Author paper for english while watching RENT and eating ICE CREAM!!!
o yea, one good thing about having mono, all the ice cream you can eat! it really helps with my throat :)

this morning i felt well enough to go to school. actually, i wanted to go to school, even if i wasnt feeling up to it. so i went and about 5 min after the bell rang i couldnt take it. i was dizzy, my head was killing me, i couldnt talk without bringing tears to my eyes cause my throat was hurting that badly. i went to the nurses office, and the nurse took my temp and i had a fever of 101.5 degrees. the nurse called my mom and my mommy came to pick me and took me to the doctors office. i had to take a couple tests to see if i had strep throat and/or the flu. both luckily came back negative. boy i tell ya, taking the flu test really sucks. its worse than swabing your mouth to check for strep. you pretty much take a big q-tip[ and you have to shove it up as far as you can in your nose and omg! i hate it! but anywaze. since my tests came back negative the doc came to the conclusion that i might have Mono! o boy. honestly, i dont think i have it, and i just think its some nasty bug or virus going around, but if im not any better by friday, im going to have to get my blood drawn to see whether i have mono or not. and o yea, have i mentioned how i HATE needles! and i HATE having my blood drawn!!! the doc also said that since my temp was soo high i have to wait 24 hours after my fever is gone before i go back to school which will prolly be thursday when i finally get to go to school. and that means I FIANLLY GET TO SEE JON!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAY!!!!! so i def can't wait.
so now i get to stay home, eat/drink soup, color in my coloring books (Lisa Frank! gotta love Lisa Frank coloring books and having 200 crayons!) along with watching court TV, the olympics, and my daily Soap Operas. but other than that, life at home is pretty boring. im hoping that jon will come and visit tomarrow cause he said he was going to come visit today but was afraid i was sleeping. o well.
well right now, i am talking to jon and quite content :D
boy, do i love him!

today i was home sick. wasnt a lot of fun really cause i had a horrible migraine, my back was killing me, and throat hurts like b****. not to mention, i havent seen jon for the past four days so ive been pretty sad about that :(
and o yea! this weekend i had my honors choir convention thing and that was a lot of fun! that may actually be the reason why im sick as a dog, and why i havent seen jon soo long. but because my entry about my honors choir may be really long (but prolly worth reading) im going to spare some room and put it in an lj-cut.

Valentines Day for me was really exciting! I got candy from a couple of friends, and sadly, i did not reacieve a carnation like i thought i would form jon. but he did make it up to me later on tonight. We were going to go to El Arriero (mex. restaurant) but they were packed, so we drove to Ruby Tuesdays, and well, they were even worse! so we were pretty much the hell with it, and went to Super China Buffet instead! Boy, i tell ya, i absolutely love oriental food now that i had moved down south. but anywho, i gave Jon the letter i wrote him in french, and suprisingly he was able to read it! but just in case i gave him a translation, and he loved. along with the letter, i gave him a bunch of chocolate cause he absolutely LOVES chocolate with a strong passion. after giving him my gift, i felt like my was pretty crappy after i got my gift from him. He bought me a PAINTBALL GUN!!! yes, a paintball gun. its a really nice one too. so later on this weekend (when i return from my Honors Choir concert at Lee University) we're gunna go paintballin in his backyard.
so like i said, valentines day was qutie simple, yet very splendid indeed.
o yea, i got kinda bored while i was waiting for jon to pick me up for dinner, so i took some pics out of pure enjoyment and boredom...

OMG! it finally snowed down here in Oak Ridge! You have no idea how exciting this is! we hardly get any snow and when we do, it usually melts instantly. the snow didnt stick for that long, but it hasnt melted away yet!
also, about a week ago, i had gone to Sugar Mountain for my ski trip, and well, it was alright. i think i had a lot more fun hanging out on the bus more than out on the slopes.
i had to be up by 4 in the morning cause the bus left at 4:30, so on the way to North Carolina, i pretty much slept most of my way there cause it was about a 3 hour drive. Carlin and i hung out in the back of the bus (and it was a coach too! WHOOO!) and we hung out with Trevor, Alex, Stephen, Glen, Janna, and some other guy who i seem to not know. but anywho. so as we were about to pull into Sugar, i went to use the bathroom, and well, the toilet wouldnt flush (on the bus)! so i kept pushign the flush button like three times and it finally flushed. well, one problem. it wouldnt stop. the toilet began to overflow and i was freaking out and was having a hard time trying to get out. so i finally get out told everyone what happened, and well, the it started to overflow (the blue liquid stuff) out of the door. luckily it wasnt that messy, and the whole time Alex kept making fun of me about it and he would tell everyone not to flush the toilet cause i broke. yea. so that was fun.
so we finally make it to Sugar, and it starts to rain. and i mean RAIN! it came down pretty hard so when i went out on the mountain for the first time, i was soaked wet from just sitting on the lift. so i was able to get one run in before it started to thunder storm and lightning. yea, that was not cool. so i had to quick run inside, meet up with Carlin and try to dry off. unfortunately i wasnt able to dry off that well cause my jacket, sweater, pants, and shirt was soaker. only my feet were dry. after about an hour n a half or so, it starts to snow and carlin didnt want to go back to ski school so she ditched and came with me. so i ended up teaching her how to ski, only problem was. i was snowboarding. but to my surprise she did really well, or at least improved quite a bit. we went down some easy hills first just so she could get the hang of skiing, then made our way up to the top of the mountain. poor girl, she kept falling all over the place so it took us abotu an hour or so to get down when it normally would have taken me like 10 min. but thats alright. we ran into some friends and most of the time i was sitting waiting for carlin to catch up. she didnt seem to enjoy skiing while it snowed like a blizzard, so she tended to walk down some of the time. but that was ok. i actually ended up spraining my wrist again, but i didnt really care cause i did the same thing last year, and my wrist seems to be doing a whole lot better now.
so abotu 7 hours later, we were back on the bus heading home and we were al WIRED! i tried Red Bull for the first time, and damn! that is some GOOD stuff! so ofcourse, carlin and i were bouncing off the walls practically and we went over to stephen and asked him was his middle name was and damn was it funny! now, what was soo funny is this: Stephens last name starts with a D. and carlin and i were curious as to find out if his middle name started with a T. so his initials would be STD. we went over to ask him, and with all seriousness replied "Timothy". That was when we lost it. i pretty much screamed as well as carlin cause actually thought he was serious so we were having a good time laughing. but, he was just lieing and well, idk what his middle name is, so i was sad after that not knowing his middle isnt timothy. o well.

im updating this just for Britty! (cause i lov her soo! :) )
i havent been busy with much, which is pretty good. ive been doing the morning announcements for school all last week, and now this week. now dont get me wrong, i love doing them, but having to get up really early to get to school by 7:15, is kinda takin its toll. but hey, its not that bad.
homework... not soo much. the only kind i actually have is english (ger!). we've been writing persuasive essays up the wazoo, but its better than reading poetry or stories i seem to not understand (along with the rest of my class).
tomarrow we (the STEPP team) are performing at the womens half time game, and hopefully we'll have a better crowd and wont mess up this time :S andywho.
other than that, not much has been happening. im suppose to be getting some more info on the Honors Choir (since i actually made it!!! WOOHOO!!!)
and o yea! the winter x-games are finally on! and tonight is the night when my boy (Shaun White) is going to compete for the gold in the Super Half Pipe for snowboarding! YAY! well, better go and watch that. TTFN!

as for tryin out for the talent show today with the stepp team, well, we weren't our best, but we may actually make it.
and yes, i finally got my "black" name for stepp. its.... COOKIE. yea, idk how i got that either. but thats what Tiffany calls me so, alrighty.

i tell ya, just when think you the two people you care so much about care about you, you somehow end up wrong.... like always. i am SICK and TIRED of putting myself out to those i care about a lot, and end up being crushed and beaten down. i absolutely hate it. but seriously, i hate how i am always trying to talk to them, and they end up being too busy or something, and whenever they talk to me, they think everything is absolutely A-OK when really, its not! i am just tired of being pushed around and being used like a puppet. and yes i mean puppet. cause seriously, thats exactly how i feel. when ever i walk by them or try and talk to them, they ignore me, and when i do the same, they suddenly want to come and be my best buddy. UGH! maybe i should just pretty much lock myself away from everyone by not getting too involved with people and end up being smacked in the face.
anywho, now that i am done ranting, lets move on to something a bit more happier and exciting.
last night we (the STEPP team) had our first performance at the girls varsity basketball game. it wasnt that horrible, yet it wasnt that great. but today we got together and began working on a new routine for the talent show tryouts which are coming up on like MONDAY!!!! O MY!
tomarraw i have an audition for the Honors Choir at shool, so hopefully i wont mess up too bad, and make it! (i hope)
and o yea, i just found out that the Sadie Hawkin's dance is on the same day I'm going to North Carolina (for ski club). how much does that suck! ok sure, the dance prolly aint all that great, but i really really REALLY want to go, cause Jon said he would go with me, and as lame as this sounds, I've NEVER had a date to a school dance (cept for sixth grade, but thats a whole nother story for a whole nother time). so i really want to go, and plus, this is like the only dance we've had so far at school, and the only other one i'll have this year will be prom.... too far away. but hopefully i'll be back in time for the dance, or hopefully it will be reschedeled (either the dance or the trip).
well, i'm talkin to my two favorite boys (JON! and Nick) right now who are cheering me up enormously. gosh, im soo glad i have those two! :)

yay! we are out for the remainder of the year (of 2005 ofcourse) for school! YAY! lol.
today, how CRAZY! I did the announcements again today for school, saw Rusty for the last time and saw jon with NO HAIR?!
yea, my friend Rusty (walker) my cuz ya kno, is going bak to Boluxi Miss. and he isnt coming back for school. so im really sad about that, but hopefully we'll stay in touch.
and as for jon with NO HAIR?! yea. he shaved his head!!!! actually, he didnt, his first hour class did. Apparantly he made a bet with his class that if they earned at least 30 dollars for Toy's For Tot's, then they could cut his hair. well, his class got up to 100 dollars! so yea, his hair went BYE BYE! like omg! so i didnt see him until after lunch, and WOW! his class pretty much almost shaved it off. he had a very short buzz cut. and actually, its rather dashing on him! lol. i thought it wouldnt look that great but it looks soo adorable on him! lol. every once in a while i would just reach over and rub his head cause it was soo wierd feeling. haha. but seriously, he looks soo good like this now! but now that its short and everything, he was complaining about being cold cause he didnt have all that hair on his head, so now he's the one complaining about being super cold instead of me. lol.
right now im listening and singing to "Out Tonight" from RENT cause we're having our spring musical coming up, the jungle book, and they said in order to try out you need to sing one song. so im going to prolly sing that one. but what really sux is that my throat is killin me so i cant hit any of the high notes that easily. but hopefully it will pass.
well, im tired and i want to finish some homework so i wont have to worry about doing it at the last minute during christmas break.
